On the western edge of the district, in the so-called Šiaulė land, a 21-metre observation tower has been built in the hills rising between Šiaulėnai and Šaukotas. From the top you get an exceptional view of the beautiful surrounding landscape. From the tower a footpath leads to Kudinai hillfort, also known as Šiaulė Hill and steeped in legend, and to other sights nearby.
