The Akmenų Rūža Nature Trail is a trail of about 1.3 km in Tytuvėnai Regional Park that introduces the legacy of the last Ice Age. As the glacier retreated, a ridge of stones, clay and sand formed here, with impressive boulders remaining on its surface; local people have long called such stony stretches in the forests "rūžos". The trail has information boards. Its most interesting part is the sculptural compositions and installations in which well-known sculptors improvised on the theme of stone: Kęstutis Musteikis's stones with signs, Kazys Venclovas's sculpture "Svarelis" (The Weight), Jonas Gencevičius's composition "Žemės daiktai" (Things of the Earth), Gintaras Mikolaitis's "Mechanizmai" (Mechanisms) and others. Next to the trail there is a gazebo with outdoor furniture and a fireplace for resting, as well as a campfire site. The trail surface is compacted earth, and walking it takes about an hour.
