From the 15-metre Meteliai observation tower you can take in Lake Metelys, one of the most beautiful lakes in southern Lithuania, and Meteliai Regional Park. Birdwatchers simply must visit: from early spring to late autumn the tower platform is a convenient spot to watch the lake's waterfowl, especially mute swans. Afternoon and evening are the best times.
