Lake Žuvintas Nature Trail

The trail is for those who want a closer look at the pride of southern Lithuania – Lake Žuvintas, famous for its floating islets of vegetation and its exceptional variety of birds. Walking along the 350 m path laid between tall reeds, in the warm season you will hear an impressive chorus of Žuvintas's winged residents. At the end of the trail is an observation tower from which you can comfortably watch the birds that live on and migrate through the lake – more than 200 species live here!
