Prelomciškė Hills Nature Trail

The trail is a 3.2 km loop. The surface is a track across meadow and a gravel road. Prelomciškė hillfort rises in the northern part of the trail. The Padusis hills offer impressive panoramas of Lake Dusia. The highest point of the trail rises a full 25 metres above the lake's water level. The hills are covered with steppe meadows. The most decorative grass on them, slender hair-grass, flowers at the beginning of May. The hills look their best when cranesbills, agrimony, pinks, thyme, medick and wild strawberries are in bloom – then the ridge tops and slopes shimmer with the colours of all kinds of wildflowers.
