Energy Maze
In 2012 a group of enterprising people from Šiauliai laid out a small energy labyrinth made of grass on the shore of Lake Talkša. Later the idea won the support of Šiauliai City Municipality, permission was obtained and a design for a stone labyrinth was prepared. Its authors are Edita Steponavičienė and Vitalija Petronytė. The project was carried out within a few months. On 3 September 2013 this beautiful, impressive seven-circuit labyrinth of field stones was opened. The opening was attended by Suzan Gregg, a doctor of science, teacher of Toltec wisdom and author of books. Having first come to Lithuania in 2003, she introduced Lithuanians to the history of energy labyrinths and their effects. Since then, every September, Suzan Gregg's students gather in Nida and lay out two energy labyrinths of sea pebbles on the seashore. Today the shore of Lake Talkša is one of the most visited places for the people of Šiauliai and the city's guests. Many sports, wellness and cultural events take place here.
