The Ausiutiškės viewpoint is located in Neris Regional Park. It is easily reached on foot, by bike or by car via the well-maintained tourist route along the left bank of the Neris. The road runs through a cosy, whispering pine forest, so we began enjoying beautiful views even before reaching the viewpoint. From the Ausiutiškės viewpoint you can see how the river clearly changes direction here, and where the Velniakampis loop, the largest along the whole length of the Neris, begins. In 2019 the viewpoint on the bluff was renewed: a new viewing platform replaced the old wooden tower, which had fallen into disrepair, and a campfire site with a barbecue and a picnic table with benches were installed. So you can spend more time in this beautiful spot, have a snack or even cook a hot meal.
