Vilsa Stream Waterfalls

This is the only stream in Lithuania with natural waterfalls. Only a few kilometres long, the Vilsa has formed a series of smaller and larger waterfalls as it flows over calcareous tufa. The largest is 1.5 m high, but the waterfalls change every year and new ones can appear. The Vilsa valley is also impressive and deep. Although there is natural forest around the stream and no laid-out paths, a hike all the way to its confluence with the Neris is a must. Recommended for fans of more adventurous walks.
