The Vaiguva is not just an ordinary stream but also a favourite wading spot for tourists and a street that cars still drive along today. Other streams flow into the Vaiguva, so the water here is always clean and cold, and the bed is strewn with pebbles. Until the First World War, a boulder lay in the stream bed on which the writer Vincas Kudirka is said to have rested during his walks.
