Many visitors stop by to see this manor, whose history goes back to the early 19th century. The Belvedere manor complex consists of the manor house itself, a granary, a chapel and a 17-hectare park bordering a natural forest. Although it was ravaged for more than a decade, the manor still radiates an aura of its former grandeur and luxury. Neither wars nor the vandals who ran riot after independence was restored managed to destroy Belvedere Manor completely – traces of its grandeur remain to this day. For a long time the manor was inaccessible to passing travellers – they could only view its architecture from the outside and admire the wonderful views of the surroundings. The interior of Belvedere Manor has now become accessible to the general public. Although the former luxury disappeared from inside the building long ago, there is still plenty to see. Work has begun on restoring the manor park, which will soon become a place for romantic walks.
