The former manor estate and its park cover 12 ha. Tarnava manor is known to have been owned by the Weissenhoff family (Vaizenhofai). The manor house is falling apart, standing without windows or doors. The house was built on a small hill, surrounded by a large park with paths leading down to Lake Rasai. Eleven species of native trees have been counted here, some of them old. Tall, stout wych elms, Siberian pines, small-leaved limes, white poplars, Canadian poplars and white cedars grow here. The manor is in poor condition and the park is neglected.
