Sculpture „The Magic Mouse“

„The Magic Mouse“ (Stebuklingasis peliukas) is a bronze figurine only about 17 cm tall – one of the smallest sculptures in Klaipėda and easy to walk past without noticing. The big-eared mouse sits on a granite hemisphere bearing the inscription „Turn your thoughts into words – words will become miracles“. It is believed to grant wishes: just whisper your wish into the mouse's big ear and believe it will come true. The sculpture was made in 2006 at their own expense by sculptors Svajūnas Jurkus and Sergejus Plotnikovas, based on an idea by architect Vytautas Paulionis.
