Perched on the roof of an Old Town building next to a chimney is a 2.3 m bronze chimney sweep by sculptor Klaudijus Pūdymas, unveiled in 2007. This representative of an old, disappearing trade sits high above the street, so you need to look up to spot him. On the building's wall hangs a bronze „Chimney Sweep's Button“ bearing Klaipėda's coat of arms – rubbing it is said to make your most secret wishes come true, as chimney sweeps have long been seen as bringers of good luck.
