Papilė Jurassic Outcrop

On the banks of the Venta you can touch rocks as old as 180 million years. Fossils of animals that lived in the Jurassic period and died out together with the dinosaurs are found here! Especially valuable and interesting is the 20 m high and 130 m long Papilė outcrop, which has been adapted for visitors and protected from the rain.
