Mergelių Akys ("Maidens' Eyes") is a small boggy lake lying in a hollow surrounded by pine forests. It consists of two pools connected by a strait. A recreational path leads to Mergelių Akys, and on the eastern shore there is a small jetty from which you can enjoy the peace of nature. Next to the lake stands a memorial to the partisans of the Merkys, later Kazimieraitis, unit of the Dainava military district who died in the fight.
