Folk Artist Stanislovas Petraška's Stone Painting Exhibition
Not rated yetAnykščiai
The museum's exhibition hall houses a permanent exhibition of stone pictures by the folk artist Stanislovas Petraška (1935–2009). Wishing to capture the landscapes of his homeland and Lithuania's national symbols, the painter used a unique technique of painting with stone dust, found only in this artist's work. The process of making these unique stone pictures comes to life in a video that is also shown.
