Dwarves' Passage

The Dwarves' Passage may come as a surprise to many – especially when you realise it has been right under your nose all along without you even suspecting it. This fun name belongs to an old passageway (a 'bromas') – the lowest in Vilnius – through which you can walk from one inner courtyard of the Old Town to another, and get from Vokiečių Street to Pranciškonų Street. Even a person of average height will have to stoop to get through the Dwarves' Passage. Going through it from the Vokiečių Street side, you will come out into a small, unexpectedly cosy courtyard with a whiff of times gone by.
