Vilkija Ferry “Vilkynė”

The Vilkija ferry "Vilkynė" is a motorised river ferry that regularly carries passengers and vehicles across the Nemunas. It is the only ferry crossing the Nemunas in Lithuania. The ferry takes 7–8 cars, has a load capacity of 40 tonnes, and operates 180 days a year (from May to November). Opening hours: May–September, Mon–Sun 7.00–20.30; October–November, Mon–Sun 7.00–19.30.
