The gallery is housed in the palace of the Chodkiewicz (Chodkevičius) counts. Its permanent exhibition offers a consistent and detailed introduction to the development of Lithuanian art from the 16th to the early 20th century. Other exhibitions, cultural evenings and classical music concerts are regularly held at the gallery. Try on for size whether the life of the nobility would suit you and please you – strolling through the palace halls and discussing the paintings by local artists hanging right there.
