In Cathedral Square you can find another tile – two large footprints of a standing person. This tile commemorates the Baltic Way; it was created by Gitenis Umbrasas and set into the paving by the mayors of Vilnius, Riga and Tallinn. Beneath the tile a time capsule has been buried, with a text for future generations recorded on a memory stick. Anyone can "try on" the footprints of the unknown Baltic Way participant – that is why they were made so large, so that everyone who wishes can place their feet in them. You will find this tile near the bell tower.
