Šeirė Nature Trail

On this 4.1 km walking trail in the Plateliai landscape reserve you can see the terrain typical of the region, Šeirė Forest, the Gaudupis bog, Lake Piktežeris, Lake Plateliai, and common and rare species of plants, fungi and animals, while the facilities along the way help you explore the surroundings through sight, smell, hearing, touch, movement and thought. 1.4 km of it is adapted for people with reduced mobility; it starts 1.3 km from the Žemaitija National Park directorate visitor centre in Plateliai. Part of the trail (1.8 km) coincides with the cycle path around Lake Plateliai. The trail is signposted, there is an information board at the start, and the surface is compacted earth.
