Opened in 2015, the fountain delights holidaymakers in the warm season with a dance of music, light and water. You can choose the melody the fountain will dance to from a special playlist by sending a text message. Every day there are also free hour-long shows. Depending on the chosen piece of music, the height and direction of the water jets and the fountain's lighting change. Special computer equipment controls the jets in time with the music. It also automatically adjusts the height and angle of the jets to the direction and strength of the wind. The impressive light-and-music effect is created by 260 water nozzles and 48 lights in various colours, which produce the full range of colours. The fountain's equipment was bought in Greece and Italy. Five powerful German pumps installed under the fountain basin push the main jet up to 8 metres high and lift almost 4.3 tonnes of water into the air every minute. By the volume of water it lifts, it was the largest dancing fountain in Lithuania when it opened.
