The full name of this place is the Pagiriai-Kaišialakiai sand and gravel quarry. Pagiriai Quarry is still in operation, so you can only walk around it when nobody is working here, i.e. on weekday evenings and at weekends. Incidentally, deminers from the 'Aras' unit dispose of mines and explosives in this quarry. The quarry is also popular with off-road driving enthusiasts.
