Since 2001, woodcarvers have been creating sculptures here, taking a fresh look at the work and life of Lionginas Šepka. The park is now decorated with more than 100 functional sculptures. Created by Lithuanian woodcarvers, the sculpture park is a fine tribute to the memory of L. Šepka. For future generations, too, the park will show the state of Lithuanian woodcarving in the 21st century: its strengths and weaknesses, and the searches and wrong turns of the master carvers.
