Badger's Den Geological Trail

On this short but varied 700-metre geological trail, you'll not only stretch your legs but also discover a phenomenon unique to northern Lithuania: sinkholes, which form when groundwater washes out underground gypsum layers. Following the trail, its stairs and footbridges, you'll see from the outside and even from the inside 13 sinkholes of different ages, simple and more complex shapes, standing alone or merged with one another.
