The Vilnius TV Tower is the tallest structure in the country and rightly takes its place among the tallest television towers in the world. By height it ranks 8th in Europe and 26th in the world. A revolving viewing platform is located in the ring-shaped part of the tower at a height of 165 m – on the tower's 19th floor (equivalent to the 55th floor of an apartment block). In clear weather, the city of Vilnius and its surroundings can be seen through the restaurant windows up to 50 km away.
