The treetop walking path has recently become one of the most visited tourist attractions in Lithuania. The path is 300 metres long, and its highest point reaches 21 metres. Built of steel and concrete, it draws visitors with the chance to look down on the old Anykščiai pine forest from above. As your gaze wanders over the treetops, it feels as if you are looking at the Šventoji river, Anykščiai and the outskirts of the town from a bird's-eye view. Climb up to the viewing platform at a height of 35 metres and the natural panorama looks even more impressive – below, the river flows calmly and people stroll unhurriedly, sheltered from the wind by the old forest. People with disabilities can reach the viewing platform by lift. Below, life goes on at its own pace; up above, there is the inspiring rustle of the treetops, the wind in the branches and the birds.
