Rambynas Hill (Rambynas, 45.4 m above sea level) is a hill on the right bank of the Nemunas. Famous for its legends and folk tales, it draws thousands of tourists every summer who come to explore the sights of the Panemunė region. Visitors are attracted by the panorama from the hill's viewing platforms over the lower Nemunas and its wide banks, with the towers of the city of Tilsit (Sovetsk) rising in the distance on the other side.
