At Paliesius Manor you can not only learn about the history of the place and admire its architecture and nature; concerts and educational programmes are also held here, and there is a restaurant and a physical exercise therapy clinic. In 1736 the manor belonged to Justyna and Kazimierz Piotr Kublicki, cupbearers of Livonia. From 1921 the owner of the manor was Romuald Brzeziński. There used to be a watermill, which fell into ruin in Soviet times. Of the old manor buildings, the most prominent restored one is the former steward's house, which now houses a café-restaurant, a hotel and a spa. The horseshoe-shaped masonry of the former cowshed and stables has been restored, enclosed in a huge glass-and-metal structure and adapted as an event hall. On the site of surviving foundations, a farm building has been recreated to house a small bakery. In an old-style oven fired with birch logs, Paliesius Manor bread and sweet pastries are baked to authentic heritage recipes. The two-storey manor icehouse has been brought back to life, the walking paths restored, and a stone fence and retaining walls built from field boulders and binders. On foundations found near the northern entrance to the manor, a wooden administrative and therapy building has been erected, housing the Paliesius physical exercise therapy clinic.
