In 2013 the farm bought three female alpacas, and within a few years the herd grew considerably. The alpacas are shorn every spring, and their soft, gentle wool is spun into naturally coloured yarn, knitted into a variety of goods and sewn into duvets. The farm keeps to the old traditions of processing and spinning wool: the wool is carded at local carding mills and spun on an old spinning wheel.
