A birdwatching hut has been built by the small Lake Plocis (Plazė), which can be reached from the villages of Karklė or Nemirseta on foot or by bike (about 3 km). The best time to admire the migrating waterbirds resting on the lake is March to May. At that time you can see whooper swans, smews and goosanders, lapwings, black-headed gulls, tufted ducks, pintails, gadwalls, shovelers and other birds.
