The Drąseikiai Outcrop offers a wonderful view of a bend of the Neris. You can see the steep slopes of the outcrop and the Krėslynai settlement on the opposite bank. The outcrop stretches along the right bank of the Neris for more than 200 metres. Its highest part reaches 30.2 m and extends for about 100 metres. The site has a long history: traces of Stone Age camps and Neolithic artefacts have been found here. The outcrop was declared a geological natural monument in 1964 and was classed among monuments of national importance in 1985.

Getting there
DrąseikiaiKaunas District MunicipalityDirections
Getting there by carThe site is reached from the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta road, turning off through the allotment gardens. At the "Slėnis" garden community turn right, drive a short way along a forest track, park the car and continue on foot. There are no laid-out walking trails, so you will have to follow forest paths trodden by local people. Just head towards the Neris and you will certainly see the view open up.
