Glowing Pumpkin Evenings

Glowing Pumpkin Evenings is an event by the Druskininkai Culture Centre during which Gydyklų Park glows with orange colour and warm little flames. Carved pumpkins, pumpkins twinkling with lights or otherwise decorated are presented by the Druskininkai community: children from schools and kindergartens, teams from restaurants and wellness centres, and staff of various institutions.

The pumpkin – a symbol of harvest and abundance – brings together most of Druskininkai's residents at the end of autumn: its warm colour reminds us that the light will return, and the little lights invite the community to come together.
