About the event

Šarkos parkas turns into a space of lights, decorations, treats and cute ghosts. Halloween is celebrated the Celtic way, based on the Samhain idea of "light in the dark" – without blood or a horror-film cult.

The Bright Zone has the Big Play House, the Scarecrows' Dwellings, the Fortune Teller's Room, the Fairy Beauty Fort, a Ghost-Captured Ship, Madam Witch's House, a Skeleton Orchestra, a Fairy and Gnome Meadow, a food area and the "Fantasy Alley". The Forest Zone has a 500 m winding forest trail with spookier decorations.

Halloween runs in two modes. On scary days, ghosts lie in wait for visitors in the Forest Zone; the forest trail is not recommended for pregnant women, people with weak hearts or children up to and including age 6. On non-scary days the park is for families with younger children, seniors and visitors with disabilities – there are no ghosts in the forest.

The park has no paved paths, so waterproof footwear is recommended. Dogs are not allowed during Halloween. Parking is free.

Scary days: October 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, November 6, 7; non-scary days: October 18, 22, 29, November 2–5. The last visitors are admitted an hour before closing (the Fortune Teller's Room is open until then); the Forest Zone opens an hour later than the park. The park is closed on November 1. A ticket is valid only on the date shown on it.
